East Prawle Cricket Club were knocked out of the Corinthian Cup by Holbeton on Tuesday evening.
The cup rules call for 16 eight-ball overs, and in their allotted time East Prawle knocked up 78, with Alex Browne high scoring on 16, followed by Julian Brazil on 14.
Holbeton, playing at home, won the toss and put East Prawle in on a damp and slow pitch that was very difficult to score on.
Holbeton's bowling was quick and tidy and Ben Cook took two wickets in his four overs. Treeby and Atwill took one each.
Ackland opened with Legrice for Holbeton and the former played a measured innings, scoring 25 not out in the 13.1 overs it took for the home side to make its target.
Edwards also stood out for Holbeton, scoring a quick 18, including three fours.
Shaun Taylor clean bowled Ebbutt and Edwards, while Carl Tillott and Richie Thuel took a wicket each and Francis was run out after facing only two balls.
